Friday night on October 15th, the Oxford Yellow Jackets came to town to face the Springville Tigers. The first half was a one -sided affair with Oxford playing great football. The score was 26-3 at the half.

After halftime the Tigers held Oxford scoreless and had multiple great defensive drives that kept Oxford contained. Johnnie Wolf and Noel Cox each scored touchdowns in the second half to bring the score to 26-17. Unfortunately, the Tigers came out with a loss after a great second half effort.
