It’s spooky season and that means Halloween movies! When you think of iconic Halloween movies, Tim Burton’s animated classics probably cross your mind. His best known Halloween movie is definitely Nightmare Before Christmas. The movie starts in a chilling town filled with monstrous citizens. When their pumpkin king, Jack, discovers what Christmas is, the town tries to take over Christmas. The movie also features a great soundtrack.

The next classic Tim Burton movie is Frankenweenie. The movie is about a boy named Victor Frankenstein  whose dog died and he brought him back to life. He gets a new science teacher that year and his love for science grows. His class is having a science fair at the end of the year. The movie is in black and white which gives it a very nostalgic feel and all the characters are very interesting.

One of my all time favorites is The Corpse Bride. The movie starts with an arranged marriage between Vector Van Dort and Victoria Everglot. When Vector can’t get the marriage speech correct, he runs into the woods where he accidentally proposes to the corpse bride named Emily. The movie follows Vector as he tries to get back to his original wife, Victoria.

If you still want to watch more seasonal movies when you’re down with these gems here’s  some you should check out: Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Beetlejuice, Big Fish, and many others. I hope you enjoy watching these great movies this Halloween!
