Pumpkins are super healthy and full of vitamin C and potassium to help your immune system fight off colds and other sicknesses. It is often given to pets by veterinarians as a dietary supplement. The name pumpkin comes from the Greek word “pepon,” which translates to “large melon.” Pumpkins have been used since about 3500 B.C. and are one of the oldest known crops in the western hemisphere.
