At the beginning of the month Springville had a cross country meet at Guntersville.  Springville had 8 runners finish in the top 100 runners in the event. David Robles had the best time for Springville with a time of 17:23. Overall in the meet, Springville finished in 5th place.

On October 9, Springville competed at our own Homestead Hollow. Springville had a great day, finishing in 2nd place with 55 points. Our three best runners that day were Ethan Gravlee, Benjamin Chapman, and David Robles finishing in the top 15. David Robles had the best time of 18:07.

On October 12, Springville raced at the St Clair County Championship. Our cross country team did very well with four of our runners finishing in the top ten: David Robles, Benjamin Chapman, Nick Johnson, and Elliot Denard. Robles once again had the best time for Springville with 19:40. Overall in the meet, Springville finished in 2nd place.

On October 16, competing for us was the junior varsity squad in the St. Bernard Octoberfest Invitational. We had two runners finish in the top 25, Ethan Gravlee and Tate Milstead. Milstead had the best time for Springville with a time of 14:21 for the two mile.
