On Saturday April 8th, the Springville Tigers softball teams traveled to Albertville to play in the Sand Mountain Tournament. The varsity lady tigers first game was against North Jackson. They had a slow start, but Kiley Christopher came in clutch with a walk-off hit to win the game 3-2. Their second game was against Skyline. They came out of the gates hot with a lead of 6-0, but the Skyline Vikings came back and tied the game with an ending score of 6-6.

The Junior varsity lady tigers first matchup was against Huntsville panthers. They also had a slow start the first game, but they still came back and got the win 6-4. Their second game of the day was against the Boaz Pirates. The Junior varsity tigers stayed defensively sound with the bats getting hot and took a big win 20-1. Overall, both teams played well last weekend and got some good reps in for the upcoming area games.
