Departing on April 12th, the Springville High School Band leaves for Washington D.C. for five days, from Wednesday through Saturday. Band students must arrive at school by 5:10 Wednesday morning, prepared for a twelve-hour drive. Hoping only to stop a total of five times in order to arrive at the hotel in D.C. before too late. The purpose of the trip begins Saturday, where band members march around a mile and a half around D.C. Springville High School will not be the only band to attend on this march, Hewitt-Trussville High School, another band close to home will also join this march. Finishing the trip on Sunday, April 16th, the band will be departing, arriving in their hometown Springville around twelve in the morning.
