Exams are coming up! Studying and cramming for them is underway. Exams can be stressful, so I interviewed a couple teachers to help with your studying this year. Coach Love said, “Don’t cram and don’t wait till the last minute. Take at least an hour out of each day to study and take frequent breaks.” Then I was able to get Mrs. Adams to say a few words. She stated, “If you can’t read it and retain the information, if you study better listening record yourself reading it and listen to it doing daily tasks. Also use key words or shorten the subject so it will be easier for you to understand/remember. Don’t forget to use flashcards as well they really help!” Finally, Mrs. Wesley had a few words to say, ” Prepare early, study in moderation using notes, index cards, quizlet, etc. Cover all material since exams are cumulative, get plenty of rest prior to taking exams.” Last but not least I was able to get some studying facts proven to be useful by scientist. Grab a coffee, reward yourself, study with others, play some music, hit the gym (makes you more relaxed and easier to pay attention), grab some walnuts, take regular breaks, get some sleep, eliminate distractions, and listen to music that won’t distract you but keep you more focused. All the facts and tips listed hopefully make it easier for you on your exams. Good luck!
