This past week SHS had Tiger Girls tryouts for basketball season. Tiger Girls is a dance team that performs during halftime at basketball games and performs other mini dances during the game. Tryouts consisted of requirements like splits, turns, jumps and a hip hop and jazz routine. Several girls made the team: Amorè Dixie, Marissa Dixie, Hanna Ford, Hannah Gill, Adyson Hathcock, Meghan Ho, Kate Hutchinson, Samantha Land, Makayla Montgomery, and McKenley Montgomery, so if you know one of these girls make sure to congratulate them on their well-earned accomplishment.
