What About Thanksgiving?

Anna Caroline, Anchor

There are two types of people in the world: those who wait to celebrate Christmas after Thanksgiving and those who completely overlook turkey day and head straight to the attic for the Christmas tree. The latter has some people wondering, “What about Thanksgiving?”

Those who wait to wrap presents before cooking a big meal would argue that Thanksgiving is just as important as Christmas, but those who string up the lights and tinsel before stuffing the turkey would argue that Christmas is the main holiday and that Thanksgiving is just a bridge to fill in the gaps. This disagreement is commonly discussed and recognized. What side of the argument you are on just depends on if there is already a decorated Christmas tree in your house.
