For the month of December, Jacob Neal has been selected to be under the SHS Student Spotlight. Jacob is a senior who is very involved in school activities. He is a very talented athlete, playing varsity football and baseball. He was selected to be a part of the 6A Region 7 All Region Second football team. He also plays first base and outfield on the baseball team. Not only is he involved with sports, he is also a part of the Beta Club and 30+ ACT Club. He is extremely smart with a GPA of 4.35. He plans to attend the University of Alabama and major in architectural engineering this fall. If he had to give any advice to other high schoolers, it would be to enjoy high school friendships and the memories that come with those friends.
