A new variant of the corona virus was first reported in the U.S. in California after a traveler had returned home from a trip to South Africa. Many states have since then reported more cases of the new variant. The Omicron variant has been reported to cause flu-like feelings, dry cough, and night sweats with a lot of body pain. The cases have been said to be only mild, but the cases are spiking rapidly. The CDC recommends to still wear masks, get vaccinated, and wash your hands. Stay safe!
