A Yummy Treat

Sweet treats are something almost everyone loves, and why not make it healthy as well? The majority of people love fruits and candies, cakes, etc. This marvelous dish would make for a wonderful holiday party or maybe even just a normal family dinner. It’s called Baked Pineapple, something my grandmother used to always make for our Christmas get-togethers. The ingredients include: 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained/ 1 cup white sugar/ 2 tablespoons cornstarch/ 1/4 cup cold water/ 2 eggs/ 1 tablespoon vanilla extract/ 1 tablespoon butter/ 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. The directions are pretty simple.  Step 1: preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) Grease a 9×9 baking dish. Step 2: in a mixing bowl, mix together the pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, water, eggs and vanilla. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Dart the mixture with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Step 3: bake in a preheated 350° F (175°C) oven for one hour. You are sure to enjoy this sweet delight if you love pineapple. Have a happy holidays and make sure you get some rest!
