Despite the humble beginnings of the FRAM company in 1932; the company encompasses more than the original creators Frederick Franklin and T. Edward Aldham could have possibly imagined. Now the company has gone global and provides various essential products like synthetic motor oil, air and motor oil filters, and other replacement parts. Since they produce synthetic oil, it is only natural that the company would own oil-rich land that could benefit their production and prospects.

On September 29, 2020, the Equinor company discovered oil reserves in the North Sea, offshore Norway. The property is in the Troll and FRAM area holding approximately 21-33 million barrels of oil, each barrel being 42 gallons. This may seem massive, but this is only one of many recent prospecting discoveries made by Equinor in the area. Needless to say, FRAM isn’t going out of business anytime soon.
