As most normal people in the world know, pizza is one of the best things ever created because of mankind and our gloriously complex minds. It is so good that there is a day dedicated to pizza which is Wednesday, Febuary 9th.

The first thing I will discuss is the culture and history behind pizza. Pizza was first invented in Naples, Italy as a fast, affordable, tasty meal for working-class Neapolitans on the go. While we all know and love these slices of today, pizza actually didn’t gain mass appeal until the 1940s, when immigrating Italians brought their classic slices to the United States. 

Next I will discuss what you can do to celebrate national pizza day. Get with THE BOYS and go get some pizza from the best pizza place you know and love locally. Hold a pizza eating contest in a Walmart parking lot, and trust me you probably wouldn’t be the first one to do this. And lastly, go get all the pizza-flavored things you can find and make a pizza party. I’m talking about pizza flavored ice cream, pop sickles, chips, etc…
