The Jungle and The Roar are pleased to announce a March Madness bracket contest for the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament.  We will be giving away a $25 Amazon gift card to the winner of the challenge, and we will give away smaller prizes for the person who has the most points from rounds 1 and 2 combined and the person who has the most points from rounds 3 and 4 combined. In order to participate, you must fill out a bracket and bring it to Mrs. Box’s room before 9 a.m. Thursday, March 17^th. There are no exceptions to this deadline.

Here’s how the challenge works: For each round, each correct pick will earn you points. First round picks are worth 1 point each, second round picks are worth 2 points each, third round picks are worth 4 points each, fourth round is worth 8 points, fifth round is worth 16, and a correct pick in the final game gets 32 points.

Follow the link to print the bracket, or you may pick up a copy from the plastic file holder outside Mrs. Box’s door. Do not forget to put your full name on your bracket. All participants must be current students at Springville High School. If there is a tie for any prize, a winner will be drawn at random from those who had the most points. All entries are due by 9 a.m. Thursday, 3/17. No exceptions. Entries may be placed in the folder in the file holder outside Mrs. Box’s door. Any partially-filled brackets will be disqualified. Any brackets without full names will be disqualified. Current Journalism students are not eligible. Good luck, everyone!
