On August 26, 2022 Springville High School’s football team played Mortimer Jordon at home. The first quarter ended 0-7. Then the second quarter had a worse ending in 0-17. Then the 3rd quarter ended in 0-24. Then in the last quarter Springville sadly lost with the final score 0-38.  We were wondering how the coaches have felt about the lost so we asked Coach Floyd who is the offense football coach. Coach Floyd said, “It was awful,” but he also said “We have a bunch of young guys that are getting a lot of experience. ” We also asked him how does he think the football team is gonna win in the Leeds game and he said, “I hope so cause we have had a lot more physical practice.” Hopefully on September 2, 2022 the Springville football team makes a come back from scoring 0 points in total from their first two games they will win against Leeds.
