Kamiyah Hervey, a Freshman in SHS, was nominated for favorite student in the Freshman class. The seniors had to randomly choose Freshman and put their names on the ballots. Then freshman classmates voted with the ballots on who should be the class favorite. This happened between September 5-9. Kamiyah did not know she was getting chosen to be on the ballots. Kamiyah had claimed “My names on the ballet! That’s so cool!” She was even more surprised when she found out she had the most votes. She will now be on one of the parade floats for homecoming week. The parade will be in the afternoon on September 23rd.
