With the school year getting started Springville has some new teachers in the classroom. One of them being Kayla Brinson. Before teaching Coach Brinson attended Shelton State Community College where she received her associates. She then attended Point University where she played softball and received her bachelors degree, and Auburn University at Montgomery where she received her Masters degree. Before working at Springville she taught at Point grove and has been teaching for 5 years. She coaches softball and basketball at Springville and teaches career preparation for the freshman. Mrs. Brinson’s favorite quote is, “Its not about how hard you can hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” by Rocky Balboa.
