The Springville Tigers Basketball opener was held at Springville High School on November 8, 2022, against Hayden. Varsity girls played a tough game against Hayden. The game was decided after a double overtime win for the Springville Tigers with a final score of 75 to 72. The Varsity boys game followed. The boys also came out with a win over Hayden with a final score of 55 to 33. Tigers defense was strong throughout both games ending the night with a double win for both varsity teams. The opener proved to be a great start for the 22-23 basketball season.
