He had to be given CPR on the field and was revived. On January 10, 2023. He tweeted that he is not home yet, and he is having to do a bunch of tests and is still asking people to keep him in their prayers. He was visited by his parents along with his brother Damir on January 10, 2023. They were happy to see him and thanked everyone for their prayers and support for their son. As of now Damar Hamlin is doing better and has been discharged by the hospital he was admitted to.
