Around 7:00 pm on Wednesday (January 17, 2023), police officers start to patrol the Misty Pines neighborhood in search of a man on the run. Police were unable to release a lot of information about this man other than his description and that “a man ran from [the officers and] is armed with a gun.” Misty Pines residents have him spotted on ring cameras, and a teacher at Springville Highschool, Coach Martin, even has a video recording of this man running through his yard. Misty Pines remained blocked off for the remainder of the night, in hopes of finding this man, but as the night goes on, theories start to build in Argo. Some say that the man was “tazed twice and got away with one handcuff on his wrist” while others say that he “hopped on a train out of Argo.” While these theories could be true, we are still unsure of what happened to this man.
