On Tuesday, March 7th Springville lady tigers played their first area game of the season at Fairview. Varsity had bats going in the first inning scoring 12 runs quickly. The game was called after three innings with a Springville Varsity win of 16-0 while only allowing one hit for Fairview. The junior varsity team also won handedly with a score of 17-0.

Both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams played in a tournament last weekend. Varsity went 5-1 in county beating Moody twice to win county. Georgia Chancellor, Kiley Christopher, and Emmy Leopard won all county with Shelby Hathcock getting MVP. Junior Varsity went 3-1 in their tournament in Hoover. Springville softball wants to keep up their winning streak throughout the softball season.
