The Springville varsity boys’ soccer team have started their season. So far this season, the boys have won five games, lost three, and tied one. There are a few standout players, including Jerome Byrd who has scored six goals. Also, Matt Wolf who has scored eight goals so far and leading the team. They have had some weather setbacks causing games to be canceled, but their next game is March 14. They will play against the number one team in 5A, Southside. A sophomore on the team, Jerome Byrd, said, “This is our season.” The team is hopeful that this is the season they win the championship.
