On March 2nd, 2023, Springville High School Band performed for judges at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The band students practiced for ten days prior to the trip to Birmingham. Every judge scored the band with perfect fives in all categories except one. The band students did a phenomenal job and worked hard. They performed three different times in three different locations. The band students then received a break for their amazing display of determination and dedication. “Wonderful job from our high school students tonight!” Mr. Saxon posted on Facebook, congratulating the band members.
