This past Friday night was the homecoming football game. At this game, the homecoming queen was announced. The three nominees that were going for the crown were Carissa Bailey, Alanna Howard, and Lana James. The student body voted on who they thought would best fit the role, and the majority vote went to Lana James. Lana is an SHS cheerleader and participates in many school clubs. She was escorted by her father and was crowned by the 2020 homecoming queen, Savannah Andrews.
