Last Friday, October 9, Springville faced off against Pell City. The game started out with Pell City playing explosively, overwhelming the Tigers and gaining a quick lead of 0-14. However, as the first half came to a close, the Tigers found their stride and tied the game right as the buzzer sounded for halftime. The third quarter saw both teams struggle for a lead, with both scoring a touchdown but neither gaining a substantial lead. This stalemate continued until the very end of the game when, in a final push, the Tigers scored a field goal, bringing the score to 24-21 and securing a victory for Springville.
