The Tigers played their final game of the season last week against the Moody Blue Devils. The first drive for Springville came up empty, but the defense stepped up in a huge way, forcing a fumble at Moody’s 3- yard line. The next drive for the Tigers was short and sweet, with a a quarterback keeper into the end- zone, making the score 7- 0 Springville. After several 3 and out drives, Springville fumbled the ball and Moody picked it up. Thankfully, the Tigers defense stopped anything from happening during the drive, but Moody’s next turn ended in a passing touchdown, making the game 7- 7. Springville then ended the half with a missed field goal. Moody had the ball to start the half and capitalized on it, scoring a touchdown, but they miss the P.A.T, making it 7- 13. After several unsuccessful drives, Moody fumbled the ball and the Tigers recovered it. Springville took advantage of the mistake and scored. Unfortunately, they missed the point after, tying it up, 13- 13. Then, Moody struck back and ran it in for the score. They tried a fake field goal, but the defense put a stop to it, making the score 13- 19. The next drive for Springville ended with an interception, and the ball was back with the Blue Devils. The Tiger defense held them to a field goal, 13- 22 Moody. The time ran out before Springville could do anything more, and the final score was Moody- 22, Springville- 13. The Tigers ended their season 4- 6.
