Iron Bowl For The Ages

Cameron

Saturday November 27th marked the 86th annual Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn. It was a classic. Auburn and Alabama would both struggle offensively with the defenses playing at their best. Auburn would hold a 10-0 lead for most of the game until the end of the 4th quarter when Bryce Young and Alabama would move the ball 98 yards to score and tie the game at 10. Auburn would then take a knee and end regulation to go into overtime. This was the first time an Iron Bowl has ever gone into overtime. After 4 OT’s Alabama would get the comeback win over Auburn 24-22.
