On Tuesday January 10, 2023, Springville’s basketball teams played Moody at Springville High School. During the basketball game, the Tiger Girls performed a new dance, and the pep band played a few songs. The cheer leaders perform after the 1st and 2nd quarter. Coach Love, who is the 9th grade coach, said, “It’s the best game they played all year!” They won 37-36.

Additionally, Coach Easterwood, who is the varsity boys basketball coach, explained how he felt about the team’s performance, “It was hard tough game.  We knew it would be a challenge after they beat us the first time, but the guys were up for it.  I thought the 4th quarter was the difference.  Ty Harrison and Ayden Walton made some big shots down the stretch, and we made some crucial free throws to pull away.” They won 70-56. The basketball teams did great and will hopefully keep doing so.
