The Springville Tigers hosted a home game at Springville High School on January 15 against the Pell City Panthers. Tigers started off strong in the first quarter with great defensive letting the panthers barely score. Tigers were on top throughout most of the game. Fourth quarter rolls around and the score bounced back and forth with the tigers on top by just a few points. With just a few seconds left in the fourth quarter, the tigers get a foul called against them allowing the panthers two free throws allowing the score advance to 50-48 Pell City. Tigers played a close game and put up a fight against the Panthers, but ultimately they came up short. Come out and support your tigers!
