The Springville Tigers faced off against the Fort Payne Wildcats last Friday night. The Wildcats scored early, but the Tigers brought it back in the second quarter with a touchdown pass from Asa Morrison to Patrick Bennett. The first half ended with Fort Payne scoring a field goal, making the first half score 10-7.

Fort Payne scored another field goal and a touchdown with the two point conversion in the third quarter, pulling away from the Tigers with a score of 21-7. In a volatile fourth quarter, both teams scored a touchdown, though Fort Payne missed the extra point kick, making the final score of the game 27-14.
