Overview: Springville High School’s Sports Region

Springville High School is a 5A School located in Northeast Alabama they play different teams in a region which is similar to Conference’s in College Athletics. Teams in this region must play each other once a year to determine standings and many other statistics. Starting with the Tigers In Football they are aligned in 5A Region 6 There is 6 other Schools in this region the tigers compete against the Southside Gadsden Panthers who they’re very familiar with since these two were both just in the same 6A region together. The Moody Blue Devils and St. Clair Saints also are in this region who are rivals with Springville. They are familiar extremely well with each other since they are in the same County. The Leeds Greenwave also play in this region they are very familiar with each other and have been for a very long time. Two teams who may or are not so familiar with the Tigers in this region are the Alexandria Valley Cubs and the Lincoln Golden Bears. Now for the Tigers Basketball Region they Compete against each team twice with one home game and one away game which declares who plays who in the Region Tournament which is similar to the NCAA Basketball Conference Tournaments. Springville plays, The Moody Blue Devils, Leeds Greenwave and St. Clair Saints It is all set up the same way for Baseball! as well.
