On October 7, 2022, The Springville tigers hosted a game against the Lincoln Gold bears at home. Before the game began all senior Dance line and Colorguard participants were recognized. Lincoln starts the game with the ball due to the Tigers losing the coin toss. Tigers started the game out playing defense, within a few plays, Lincoln had made a bad snap causing Cody Ingram to recover the ball. Tigers went in to play offense and after a few handoffs Mahlon Alverson ran in the first touchdown, Peyton Griffin then followed with a field goal causing the Tigers to be up 7-0.  The tigers put up a tough fight throughout the game against the Golden Bears just barely falling short. The tigers didn’t have the outcome they had hoped for. The final score ended up being 34-31.
